Hi friends,
Plenty of brilliant people stay stuck. Brilliant people get overlooked.
Your future isn’t determined by your potential.
It’s not even determined by your existing brilliance.
Brilliant people burn out doing work that no longer excites them because brilliance alone isn’t what moves things forward.
What shapes your future is what you do with that brilliance.
Potential is the raw material. But progress? That’s built in the small, deliberate moments where you decide to back yourself.
3 specific things to be exact
And that's what I want to share with you today. This email is hard hitting.
Sorry not sorry 😉
1. What you tolerate
Every time you say, “It’s not that bad,” you’re making a decision. To stay in a role that drains you. To take the work that no longer excites you. To accept a version of your career that feels fine on paper but flat in practice.
Tolerating isn’t neutral. It’s an active signal, one that tells your brain, your boss, your team, and yourself, “this is okay.” And over time, it becomes your baseline.
What you tolerate quietly defines what you expect and what you think you're worth. (That goes for everything in life, not just work)
2. What you prioritise
You might say you want space to figure things out. But if your calendar is still packed with everyone else’s priorities, that clarity you’re craving won’t magically appear.
You might want to pivot. But if you’re still giving all your energy to work you’ve outgrown, how do you expect something new to grow?
Your real priorities aren’t what you say they are. They’re what you consistently choose.
E.g If you say your priority is to feel more confident in your body but you don't prioritise the activities that enable that every day...it isnt a priority.
So if your next move really matters start treating it like it does.
3. The action you take before you feel ready
This is the one that stops most people.
Because deep down, we’re all waiting for the same thing:
100% clarity. More confidence. A sign. A strategy. A step-by-step plan.
But here’s the truth: confidence is the result, not the prerequisite.
Courage comes first. And so does self-trust—the belief that you’ll figure it out as you go.
In UNTAPPED I help you get 60% clarity and then we dive straight into action...and even then I get resistance because the unknown is deeply uncomfortable. But with my support they make those moves knowing they have me by their side the whole way.
You don’t need all the answers to take the first step - once you get to 50-60%, the rest of the clarity comes through action.
The people who build powerful, authentic careers aren’t fearless. They’re just willing to act before the fear runs the show. They back themselves when things feel ambiguous. And they make peace with discomfort being part of the process
So, ask yourself:
→ What am I currently tolerating that’s quietly holding me back?
→ What am I prioritising that doesn’t match what I say I want?
→ And what would it look like to walk toward something better this month eeeeeeven if I don’t feel totally ready?
That’s where your future starts.
In the quiet, decisive moment when you choose something different.
And when you've made that decision and are ready to step with clarity and courage into this next phase of you. I'll be right here to help.
Have an awesome weekend when you get there.
